Shreem Electric's Automatic Power Factor Controllers (APFC) continuously monitor the load and automatically switch capacitor steps in and out to maintain the target power factor, available in four series to suit different panel sizes and requirements. The SPFi series (4, 6, 8 and 12 stage) has a 16 x 2 graphical LCD, auto initialization to detect connected capacitor kVAr values, programmable capacitor values, and THD and individual harmonics display up to the 31st order. It offers over/under voltage, current, frequency and compensation alarms, and an optional RS-485 port. The SPF series (08T and 12T) has a 16 x 2 LCD and shows THD and odd harmonics up to the 15th order, with transistor outputs that can drive high speed thyristor switches. The SPFi-L series (4, 6 and 8 stage) is a compact, economical model with a 3-digit LED display, auto CT polarity correction, self-optimized intelligent control and automatic detection of non-connected banks. The SPF3 series (08MT/16MT and 08M/16M) is the advanced three-phase model with a graphical LCD, real time clock, dual target power factor setting, data logging of faults and events, neutral current and step kVAr display, external fast blow fuse protection and RS-232 and RS-485 MODBUS communication.
